The bustling old town of Salzburg is only a one hour drive from our accommodation and has lot’s to offer for a day trip.

Salzburg is a relaxing city to visit with most of the tourist attractions centred around the old town, the streets are filled with bistros and cafes to just sit and watch the world go by. Or go shopping in one of it’s many designer shops or wander round one of the many old antique shops selling traditional Austria furniture, clothes and clocks.

As the evening draws in Salzburg comes alive with fine dinning and many bars and clubs, you could even take the elevator (or walk as we did) up to the Modern Art Gallery and cool bar with the best views over the old town.
